Car SR-09
High-toe hitch
The far corner dives first on wet grain. We grind relief until the hitch lets go, then we stop. Extra scoops are a different car.
Railroad Square spur / Russian River fog / 707 toe stencil
Railroad Square · Russian River fog · toe stencil
Toe Map is a spur off Santa Rosa Avenue. We do not guess a grind letter from a catalog. We chalk where the toe is digging, then we map relief so Bennett Valley bermuda stops taking the far corner hostage.

The toe already floats. Cutting it further is a skip, not a map. We leave stock and send the player back to a teacher if the hitch is a swing.
Car SR-44
A letter copied from a box that never sat in Railroad Square fog. Fine as a poster. We will not stamp it as a car.
Heard on the spur
Maren chalked my toe and it was diving on the Laguna side. The 'standard grind' I loved was a shovel in morning fog. We mapped relief. Bennett Valley stopped collecting the corner.
They asked whether my hours were river fog or Fountaingrove wind. I said both. Ivo said pick a car or buy a second sole. Rude in the useful way.
Why a chalk wall
Players roll in with a grind they circled in a magazine. Santa Rosa turf does not read circles. It reads whether the toe is the first thing to dive when the Laguna is wet, and whether a low-toe rider is already skipping before anyone picks up a file.
Tessa Brant chalks the contact patch like a car number. Maren Quist then maps relief that can live with Russian River fog, or she refuses a stencil that was cut for someone else's hitch.
